The Ecuadorian British Chamber of Industry and Commerce was founded on the 10 March 1989 in the presence of government representatives from Britain and Ecuador. The chamber is a non profit organization based in Quito with a regional chamber in Guayaquil and an associate chamber in Cuenca.
Our Mission
The Chamber is an organization founded to promote commerce, investment, cultural and educational relations between industry, government and the people of Ecuador and Great Britain.
What We Do Best
In a global economy, which is the reality of the business world today, it is vital that our business relations focus on the international stage. To ensure success in any field, today more than ever before, we require intercultural awareness and effective cross cultural communication skills. With this thought foremost in our mind, the Chamber organises regular business events to promote market understanding and networking opportunities for UK and Ecuadorian industries and commerce. We have forged links with British universities, educational and linguistic establishments to enhance the understanding between our cultures. Our breakfast talks provide vital information on Ecuadorian legal, monetary, and political events and our seminars have become a recognised training platform for national and international commerce and industry.
Our Members
Our membership is the foundation of the Chamber and we are committed to helping our members enhance their business, educational and cultural activities so they may profit from the many opportunities in Latin America and Europe.
